Camping Gear notes - You want gear that has tags that surpass conditions you expect to be in. In most situations, it will prevent needing to roll for any issues setting up. (Or: Like in Pokemon, having Key Items is all you need.)

Gear

Gear is available but limited by two things - the cost, and where you can expect to find it.

The availability, from the least available, to ones with caveats -

  • Flagship - Flagship Stores. Guaranteed in Suncoast, limited availability in Yaro City and Castlewick City, extremely limited in Verdant Glen City.
  • Upscale - Stores catering to those with money. May have random markups. Upscale stores, available in all cities, and occasional popups in towns.
  • Midline - Basic stores catering to everyone. Available in all cities and towns. Limited availability in villages closer to cities. Dreamy Cove counts as a village for this.
  • PokéMart - Everywhere unless explicitly noted by the POI.
  • Secondhand - Basic secondhand stores. May have restored, or new items. Available in all cities, towns and villages. May be limited in Suncoast and Castlewick Cities.
  • Outlet Stores - These.. are somewhat dodgy. You may find what you want but it may have a markup or be on massive discount.

Maturity is a note from me about how new the item is (i.e repair/reliability). It is generally only used when I want to mention the tech or item is experimental.

Resale value is 50% except for anything marked [Old] (30%) or [Well Worn] (25%). Some items will note they have limited resale values.

Anything marked [Obsolete] has no resale value but you may be able to do something with them in specialized encounters and locations.

N.B Apps generically - PokeRide apps are on-demand uses of specific moves, available in most of Rachenn (but not everywhere.). They are *slightly* cheaper than airships and can go anywhere within their operational range.

Camping Gear notes - You want gear that has tags that surpass conditions you expect to be in. In most situations, it will prevent needing to roll for any issues setting up. (Or: Like in Pokemon, having Key Items is all you need.)
